Principal's Message
Regional Cross Country
Congratulations to Amayah and Tom who competed at regional cross country, showing great sportsmanship, showing the true spirit of the St James Way!
Tom and Amayah, not only made themselves proud in their running abilities but both were proud to belong to and represent their school, wearing the school colours and giving it their all!
Tom was 38th with a time of 12minutes and 10sec - 3km run
Amayah was 43rd with a time of 13minutes 39sec - 3km run
Well done team, amazing effort!

Health Care Card Concessions
Please note, if you hold a Health Care Card you may be eligible for a reduction of your 2024 school fees.
If you have not done so already, and would like to apply for a concession, please provide a copy of your valid Health Care Card to the office by no later than Friday 21 June.
Applications submitted after this date, will not be accepted by the Department of Education.

Premier's Reading Challenge
School Fees
Term 2 Fee Statements have been issued to all family accounts. Please ensure you check junk/spam folder if you haven't received your statement and contact the school office if you require a copy.
Please note that Term 1 fees are now overdue and payable. Please address any overdue fees as a matter of priority.
Direct Debit arrangements can be established at any time. Alternatively, payments can be made via bank transfer (account details are listed on the statement) or via EFTPOS in the school office.
If you have an existing Direct Debit arrangement in place, please refer to your Fee Statement and check whether your current arrangement needs to be increased in order to settle your account by the end of the school year.

Important Information
This year St James will be using two main platforms of communication with our families - PAM and Schoolzine.
To ensure that you keep up to date with what is happening with your children and within the school please ensure that you have access to these platforms and are familiar with their uses.
If you require assistance with accessing or setting up these platforms, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
From time to time it will also be necessary for emails and text messages to be sent.
Schoolzine App Installation Instructions:
This is an app that you have on your phone and allows for easy reading of the newsletter, as it customises to the screen and translates into many languages if required.
