Principal's Message
This has certainly been a busy term and we have had much to celebrate as a community!
One very important celebration is the upcoming birth of Baby Veldman 2.0! We wish Julie, Dale and Noah all the very best as they continue to excitedly wait for the birth of their new baby. We are certainly looking forward to meeting Baby Veldman and having lots of cuddles!
Our children and staff have shown amazing resilience this term as they have 'soldiered on' despite sickness and fatigue. I thank them all for their hard work, mixed in with a pinch of fun and a whole lot of curiosity and laughter.
Wishing you all a safe break, where you are hopefully able to recharge. We will see you back on Tuesday July 16.
Kind Regards, Bec Kollaris

SPEAK PERCUSSION
Next week at Cardinia Cultural Centre we'll be leading 3 days of musical workshops for students aged 8+, leading to two public performances at the centre for Winterfest 2024. We hope some of your students may be excited to join us!
They'll be learning a beautiful piece called Bell Curve, which is played on the Federation Handbells. It's an introduction to how creative we can get with music making, and we play the bells by striking them, playing them with violin bows, dipping them in water and more.
The program is free and all materials are provided. The players don't need to be able to read music, so the piece is great fun for students who know a bit about music or are just starting out.
Here's the key information:
Venue: Cardinia Cultural Centre (40 Lakeside Blvd, Pakenham VIC 3810)
Workshop Dates: Wednesday 3 July - Friday 3 July, 9am-12pm each day
Performances: Friday 3 July, 12:10pm and 2:20pm
Cost: FREE Ages: 8+
Parents can register here, and if they have any questions they can reach me on 0421 922 261
