Principal's Message
This week we are continuing with our whole school focus on being Responsible, Respectful and Safe.
There have been so many examples of this.
Responsible - we use our equipment and spaces appropriately
- Students have been actively caring for the school environment and helping each other clean up and put equipment away
Respectful - we use kind and calm words, actions and body language
- Students have been working collaboratively together in class to complete tasks
- Encouraging each other when challenged
- Working together as a team to create mindfullness structures in the Camino Garden
Safe - we are mindful of others' personal space and keep our hands to ourselves
- Students identify each other's personal space (bubble) and are mindful of how they are moving around each other.
We will continue to focus on these behaviours and recognise those students who are setting great examples at assembly.
As the year draws to a close, can I please encourage families with outstanding fees to settle your accounts as soon as possible. I fully appreciate the strains and cost of living concerns, if you are experiencing difficulties please email me to make a time to discuss.
Have a good week, Bec

Children's Wellbeing Continuum
The Children's Wellbeing Continuum is an evidence-based tool that can be used as a snapshot of a child's social-emotional wellbeing at a point in time.
Over the past few weeks Wellbeing Continuums have been introduced and implemented in every
class across the school to help children and teachers discuss and reflect on wellbeing. Students have adopted the language of ‘Good, Coping, Struggling and Overwhelmed’ when identifying their feelings throughout the day.
The Wellbeing Continuum is a terrific tool that can also be used at home as a conversation starter. The short clip below outlines ways in which the Wellbeing Continuum can be used at home.
Copies of the Continuum used in class have been sent home with the eldest students today. If you do not receive one please reach out I’ll make sure another is sent home!
